AOU fosters scholarship that serves the Church and society. Our centers convene faculty, doctoral candidates, and practitioners to investigate Scripture, leadership, and human flourishing—then translate insights into action through publications, seminars, and field projects.
Proposed Centers (with missions)
Canon, hermeneutics, church history, and
contemporary theology; supports Th.D., Ph.D., and advanced seminars.

Center for Counseling & Family Life
Christian counseling research, group dynamics,
grief/trauma, and ethics; supports MABC, DCC, and DBS pathways.
Governance, strategy, ethics, and
change management for churches, ministries, and Christian nonprofits; aligns with DCL,
Organizational Leadership & Management, and Executive Leadership doctorates.
Student Affairs Missiology, church planting, denominational
diversity, and cross-cultural ministry; integrates MCP, D.Min., and missions electives.
Student Affairs Church media, public speaking,
and digital discipleship; supports ICBM-210, MPS, and leadership electives.
